Cancellation Policy:
I kindly ask for 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment, for any reason. If you develop symptoms of illness within 24 hours of your treatment, please cancel your appointment for everyone’s safety.
To avoid the cancellation fee, you’re welcome to send someone in your place (the billing and receipt will be transferred to their name). All missed appointment fees are automatically processed at the time of the appointment.
You may cancel online anytime up to 48 hours before your appointment. If online cancellation is not available, that window has passed. If you’re unable to cancel online or are sending someone in your place, please call, text, or email me directly.
Payment must be received before booking your next appointment.
Please note: frequent rescheduling, cancellations, or substitutions challenge the progress toward your goals. I treat your booking request as a firm commitment and ask that you do the same.
Refusal to Treat
To maintain a safe and professional environment, I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time. Situations may include (but are not limited to):
- Intoxication
- Disrespectful language, behaviour
- Romantic/sexual advances
- Illness or infectious disease
- Contagious or unidentified skin conditions
If any of the above occur, your treatment will be cancelled and the card on file will be charged the full fee for the time reserved.

If you have new or worsening symptoms (within the past 48 hours) you must cancel your appointment. In this case, you may send someone in your place to avoid the fee (the billing and receipt will be transferred to their name).
I cannot treat you if you have new or worsening symptoms of illness. The full fee for the time reserved will be charged. **If your schedule is regularly upended by changing plans (sick kids, work meetings, weather that prevents you from arriving), please consider scheduling appointments last-minute rather than booking in advance. There are no exceptions to the 48 hours cancellation policy.
If you have had a recent cold and are still sniffly but improving contact me and we can discuss whether it is safe** for you to attend your appointment. In most cases I will ask you to wear a mask. Never assume you can just show up wearing a mask, always confirm with me first.
**this is a massage therapy standard in Ontario—RMTs are not permitted to work on clients who are sick, this puts myself and other clients at risk.
Short answer, NO. Appointments are non-transferable. I allow you to send someone in your place in cases of urgency (to avoid the cancellation fee). If you want to send your friend or partner in your place because they can’t find a spot in the schedule—reach out to me. The swap will only be approved once you reschedule your appointment.
