A thorough assessment (15-20 min) to gather information on the history of your pain—be it new or chronic—because your tension is unique to your anatomy and lifestyle. The remaining time is used for a comprehensive treatment to bring you into the first stage of healing.

I will educate you on how each muscle is contributing to your pain.

You will receive recommendations to support your healing between appointments.

Return within 7 to 10 days to receive your Treatment Plan.

I want to know how your body responded to the last treatment—whether you felt better or worse—this information informs how we move forward. Massage alone is not enough. I give you personalized exercises (less than 10 min/day) & recommended treatment frequency to help move you toward your goal.

Receive detailed instructions on how to execute the exercises properly, everything from frequency, duration and repetition, to what time of day is most effective.

I will let you know what to expect as your body rebels against change. Sometimes progress feels like a setback, I will coach you through.

Pain Relief FAQs

If you are following the prescribed frequency of exercises and treatments, you should begin to notice changes with 2 to 4 treatments. More complex issues that have been left untreated for months or years will likely take longer.

Don’t worry, you can still have as many treatments as you like once your pain is gone! In fact, I encourage you to consider regular maintenance to avoid setbacks or relapse—but you wont need it, because now you know how to manage symptoms on your own.

You won’t be left to figure things out on your own. I stay involved in your progress—checking in regularly, refining your exercises, and adapting your plan as your body changes. My work focuses on releasing the tension behind your symptoms, while giving you the tools to hold onto the results you gain.

Your goal may begin with getting out of pain and progress to getting back to activities you thought were in the past—as your goals change, we will adapt the plan together.

What’s Expected of You

Healing is a shared process. The results you’re looking for come from what we do together—and what you continue between sessions.

  • Honour your appointments
    When life gets busy, it’s easy to put your own care last. But consistency matters. Each session builds on the last, and missing appointments can slow or undo the progress you’ve already made.
  • Stay consistent with your exercises
    Your prescribed exercises are a key part of your progress. They’re tailored specifically to you, so it’s important to follow them as given. If something doesn’t feel right or you’re unsure, check in before making changes—we’ll adjust together.

This work is most effective for those who are ready to show up for themselves consistently.
